Paddy Bettington
Research Officer

Paddy is our Research Officer, joining CLASS in December 2020 delivering research on the UK labour market. Previously, Paddy has worked as a project manager and then a data analyst in the live events industry. Alongside this, he has written for left-wing publications such as Open Democracy and Tribune and campaigned around employment policy. Paddy holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester, as well as an MSc in Social and Political Theory from Birkbeck. His MSc dissertation investigated the social and psychological implications of advancing AI and automation.
