Adam Almeida is our Research Analyst, joining in June 2020 and working in conjunction with the Runnymede Trust to study gentrification in London.
Prior to this, Adam worked as a consultant at the Treatment Action Group and the Overseas Development Institute. His work included quantitative analyses of health-related data from programmes in the Global South and campaigning and advocating for people suffering from TB treatment-related deafness.
Adam was born and raised in Toronto. He has a BSc in Pharmacology from McGill University in Montréal, QC and an MSc in Global Population Health from the London School of Economics. His MSc dissertation studied the effects of austerity measures imposed by the EU on the Portuguese healthcare system and its continued presence within HIV prevention, treatment and care services.
