Professor Roger Seifert

Roger is currently a Professor of Industrial Relations and Human Resources Management at the University of Wolverhampton Business School and prior to this was a Professor at Keele University. He now sits on the National Advisory Panel of Class.
Roger specialises in public sector industrial relations, strikes, and the role of the state in the employment relationship. Over his career he has acted as a consultant to large private and public sector companies, trade unions, and government departments.
Roger was President of the British Universities Industrial Relations Association, acted as an academic adviser to ACAS and the Commonwealth Universities Association and remains a visiting professor in Zimbabwe, Malawi and China. He was elected onto the council of the World Association of Political Economy and became a standing member of the Council in 2010.
