Steve has worked in housing for 40 years. He was assistant director of housing for a London borough and Head of Housing Policy for Shelter. Later, as a consultant, he drafted Ken Livingstone’s housing strategy for London and worked on the reform of council housing finance. For the last 2 years he has co-edited the ‘Red Brick’ blog and chaired the London Labour Housing Group. He tweets at @SteveHilditch @labourhousing @lhglondon
