Adrian Weir
Unite the Union

Adrian Weir has a background in the engineering industry in Southampton where he was a lay representative (shop steward/safety rep/district committee/trades union council/etc). After a break in employment to pursue a course of higher education he began work for the T&G in its London Region in the mid 1980s, and is currently Unite’s Assistant Chief of Staff working at the union’s head office.
He is also an officer of the activist group, the Campaign for Trade Union Freedom, and a member the Publications Committee of the Institute of Employment Rights.
